Emerging Auckland is a development tracker, plotting and tracking the progress of most significant private developments and infrastructure projects within the Auckland central city isthmus.
We aim to provide you with a detailed and comprehensive up to date record of all the major construction projects currently under construction across Auckland City and within the ‘City Fringes’; those about to commence construction and proposed future developments.

To record the emerging Auckland through the lens, we have created a unique photo gallery for most city centre construction projects, which track progress to completion and include pre-construction and site demolition images where possible.

Emerging Auckland sets out to showcase Auckland City as it ‘emerges’ through an intense period of change.
In addition to our databases and photo galleries we have created a simple interactive bird’s eye map pin-pointing many of the apartment and commercial office construction projects underway and those completed since around 2008.
